Visitors to Market Cross can expect a ‘super day’ this weekend as Spider-Man will be paying a visit to Selby.

Peter Parker’s alter-ego will be roaming around the popular town shopping centre between Noon and 2pm on Saturday, August 31.

This offers a great chance for youngsters to get a high-five or pose for a cool selfie with Spidey himself! The event is also free to attend.

Melissa Clement, Events and Marketing Co-ordinator for Market Cross, said: “I’m sure a lot of youngsters will be thrilled to hear that Spider-Man will be at our centre this weekend – it’s not every day you get the chance to meet a superhero after all!

“I’d urge families to come along and meet Spidey whilst also browsing our amazing range of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants.”

There are a number of other reasons why visiting Market Cross would make for a great day out.

Henry’s has recently launched a new menu that features many popular and established dishes, plus a few additions, that are sure to satisfy your taste buds.

Barco Lounge has a wide variety of cocktails, including Martinis and Spritzes, that can be enjoyed inside or in the sunshine on their large outdoor terrace.

Meanwhile, the centre has a vast array of retail shops including Belle Boutique, Dolled Up and Home Bargains.
