Meet Pete the T. Rex at Market Cross this Saturday

Market Cross is preparing to welcome some prehistoric visitors as Pete the T. Rex and his baby dinosaurs arrive at the centre on this Saturday - August 8th.

Families are invited to enjoy a day of free dinosaur-themed entertainment, with Pete the T. Rex roaming the centre during special walkabout appearances at 11am, 12pm and 1pm.

Young dinosaur fans will also have the opportunity to meet the adorable handheld baby dinos, which will be appearing at 11:30am, 12:30pm and 1:30pm.

Visitors can continue the dinosaur-themed fun at Elaine’s Cards & Gifts, where there will be a special window display for the event and dinosaur balloons avaliable to purchase on the day. Families can also discover a selection of dinosaur-themed books at The Works.

The event offers the perfect opportunity for little explorers to meet the dinosaurs, take photographs and enjoy some prehistoric fun during the summer holidays.

Melissa Clement, who oversees management at Market Cross, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming Pete the T. Rex and the baby dinosaurs to Market Cross.

“This promises to be a fantastic event for families, and we hope lots of young dinosaur fans will join us for an exciting day of free entertainment at the centre.”

The event is free to attend, and no booking is required.
