Independent phone shop extends lease at Market Cross shopping centre in Selby

The mobile phone repairs and accessories store, Harry’s Phone Accessories, has renewed its lease at Market Cross shopping centre in Selby.

The popular store which offers a repair and unlocking service, as well as stocking a wide range of mobile phone accessories, has been based on Market Lane next to the independent cobbler and opposite the sewing shop since 2016.

Owner, Farooq Rana, said: “We are delighted to recommit to the centre. It’s great to be part of the town and we look forward to continuing to offer the same fantastic service to our customers here in Selby.”

Estates Surveyor at Dransfield Properties who own and manage the development, Olly Jansen, said: “We are really pleased Harry’s Phone Accessories is the latest of our tenants to renew their lease with us.

“We will soon be announcing further updates on new stores coming to the shopping centre making this a really exciting time for Selby.”

The centre has undergone a programme of works over the last 12 months including an upgraded shop front to the former Access Selby unit. This is now home to Hands of Hope Charity and the first floor has been transformed into new office space, which is fully let.

A programme of free events aimed at families is also being rolled out by the management team throughout the summer holidays including a Dinosaur event taking place this Friday.
