Egg-citing Easter fun on the cards at Market Cross

The Easter Bunny will be hopping down to make a special appearance at Market Cross in Selby next week as part of the centre’s annual Easter celebrations.
The stores at the Selby shopping centre are full of Easter treats, gifts and crafting ideas this month in preparation for Easter Weekend – Alexander’s Gifts also has a range of special Easter themed balloons.
The centre’s Easter themed event is due to take place on Saturday April 19th and as well as a visit from the Easter Bunny young visitors can enjoy free glitter tattoos. The Easter Bunny will make his appearance at Market Cross between 11am and 2pm – ready for meeting and greeting, high fives and family photo opportunities.
Two new businesses have also joined the centre this month; Mr Quinn’s Café Bar and Webster’s Family Butchers – two more great reasons to visit the centre during the Easter break.
Mr Quinn’s is a fantastic addition to the café and dining out line up at Market Cross and family owned Websters has everything you need for a family Easter lunch, along with Coopers Grocers.
Melissa Clement, Event Co-ordinator for Market Cross, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming the Easter Bunny back to Market Cross this month – it’s always a really popular event so make sure Saturday April 19th is in the diary.
“It’s been a really busy few weeks at the centre and we’re pleased to be welcoming two great new local businesses with Mr Quinn’s Café Bar and the new butchers – we’re sure they’ll both be really well received in the town.”
The stores, restaurants and cafes at Market Cross will be open as normal on Saturday April 19th, the majority of stores will be closed on Easter Sunday and operating Bank Holiday hours on Easter Monday.
